My Response(s): Thank you for visiting my website and submitting your question. I pray that this email find you and your household in good sound mind. You asked, does GOD have good and evil in Him? The short answer is No. There is no evil in GOD nor can God commit evil as a man. For the Holy Scripture says, "Let no one say when he is tempted, 'I am tempted by God'; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone" (Jas. 1:13 NKJV). As you can see from this Scripture, God cannot even be tempted by evil. And again, the Holy Scripture speaking of God says, "For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness, Nor shall evil dwell with You" (Psalm 5:4 NKJV). Therefore, the Hoy Spirit clearly tells us that GOD cannot commit evil and evil do NOT dwell in or with God.

Now, the Holy Spirit does say that God knows good and evil. For it is written, "Then the Lord God said, 'Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil" (Gen. 3:22 NKJV). Therefore, it is clear that like God we as mankind in our present state know good and evil but God do not commit evil like man does. For mankind cannot resist evil, unless the Spirit of God lives inside him which is the power of God at work in us. As it is written, "Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God" (I John 3:9 NKJV). This does not mean that we never sin with God's Spirit living inside us but we repent and continue to resist sin in our minds before we are tempted by evil.
