Dennis,
Your Question(s): "What is the right church that God wants?"
My Answer (s):
Thank you for your question. You asked, "What is the right church that God wants?" First, let me point out that God's Church does not consist of bricks or wood, but of those who have God's Holy Spirit. For it is written God knows those who are His (Romans 8:9). If by your question you mean what Christian denomination you should belong to, then you have been misguided by the deceitfulness of the evil one who have set on this planet many "human organizations" AKA "churches" with their many doctrines (denominations) to deceive the many. For the Holy Spirit clearly tells us, the evil one has led the whole world astray (Rev. 12:9 NIV). As it is written, "in vain they do worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men" (Matt. 15:9 KJV). For the book of prophecy, Revelation in chapters one through three tells us about these "churches" (pay close attention to Rev. 2:6, 9, 13-15, 20, 24 and Rev. 3:9).Do not be deceived all who attend these many human organizations called "churches" are not God's people. For the Spirit tells us only those who have His Spirit are His, remember the parable of the sheep and goats in Matthew 25? And Christ's own words in Matthew 7:15-27 (RSV) that "not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord', will enter the kingdom of heaven". Now, I must exhort you to continue to pray always and study your Bible. And if you want to know what religion God accepts and want you to have in this evil and adulterous world then follow the Spirit instructions in James 1:27 (NIV), "to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world". Besides this, what God ask of you is to remember His poor (Gal. 2:10). For "if anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him" (1 John 3:16-18)? May God bless you and your household with understanding, and bring you into the faith of His Christ Jesus that you may live by this faith. Amen. Praise God.
