Festival of Unleavened Bread instituted by Elohim for His Inheritance Israel representing the day Yahweh brought our ancestors out of bondage in Egypt (Exodus 12). Israel required to eat only unleavened bread (without yeast) with bitter herbs during this seven day period to remember the time of their affliction in Egypt when they left in haste (Deuteronomy 16). In prophecy, Yahweh fulfilled in the Messiah giving us, the First-fruits His Holy Spirit that we may keep this festival by producing sincerity and truth, unleavened bread – resisting malice and wickedness which are “leavened bread” (1 Corinthians 5:8).
