Messiah Yahwehshua, the Son of Elohim says, He hates the “practices of the Nicolaitans”:
This world churches have a system of government they have established in the Congregations of Elohim. This system of governing the people within the assemblies of Elohim, the One this world calls “God” is a system of “lording it over” those seeking a relationship with Yahweh.
In the first message to the churches of the Living Elohim in Ephesus:
Revelation 2:6 NIV…6 But you have this in your favor: You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
And again, the third message to the churches of the Living Elohim in Pergamum:
Revelation 215 NIV…15 Likewise, you also have those who hold to the “teaching of the Nicolaitans”.
In Matthew 20:20-28, the mother of the sons of Zebedee, the disciples James and John called by the Messiah Yahwehshua, the sons of Thunder (Yahwehshua speaking Hebrew called them “Boanerges”) – Mark 3:17 NIV…17 James son of Zebedee and his brother John (to them he gave the name Boanerges, which means “sons of thunder”).
These with their mother came to Messiah Yahwehshua asking: “Grant that one of these two sons of mine may sit at your right and the other at your left in your kingdom.”
This is Messiah Yahwehshua response and why He says to us and the Messenger of the Messianic community at Ephesus in Revelation 2:6 NIV…”You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate”:
Matthew 20:25-28 NIV…25 Jesus (Yahwehshua) called them together and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them.
26 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 27 and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Therefore, from the above event we know the Messiah hated the system of the Gentiles where they would “lord it over” the people as the teachings from early on of the “Way” begin to be “called Christians first at Antioch” – see Acts 11:26.
Messiah Yahwehshua saying, in Luke 22:25 Lexham English Bible (LEB)…25 So he said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who have authority over them are called benefactors”.
In Catholicism, called spiritually Mystery Babylon, the mother of harlots, there is a system hierarchies where the top official called by a title no human should accept let alone allow others to call you; the calling of a man by this title is a form blasphemy, for it is the same Name of the One who resides in heaven. I mean, think about what I’m saying here.
In Protestantism, the daughters of Mystery Babylon, there is also a system of hierarchies where the ones ranked above “lord it over” the ones below them in this system of hierarchies. The ones at the top control all the congregation and financial matters. If the lead ministers misuses the collected tithes and offerings of the membership then the members believe its okay because they are “God’s anointed” – there job is to just pay their tithes, serve those at the top and nothing more.

These so-called scholars have put fore many theories as to “who” and “what” this teaching and practices of the Nicolaitans “were” – the wise of this world speak about this teaching as if its in the past which they are in error.

This Ministry do say to the wise of this world; this doctrine is different from the “doctrine of Balaam” mentioned as a separate teachings of Satan’s deceitful workers in Revelation 2:14.

The Messiah Yahwehshua is “Not”, I repeat “Not” speaking of a specific person at that time or history as this word is a Greek word not a Hebrew word – left UN-translated for a reason by those who wish to conceal the truth that is to deceive the readers.
This will help you understand why this UN-translated Greek word “Nicolaitans” is a point of confusion: This Ministry reminds the reader that the Book of Revelation is a book of “Prophecy”.

Let’s first just translate the word into the English words for it, to do so will reveal to the reader Mother Mystery Babylon and her Daughters, the churches of the ‘high-archy’ and ‘low-archy’; a clergy-laity “laymen” system of clergy persons lording over others instead of shepherds guiding the flock and servicing the flock.

And the second part G2004 meaning to arrange upon, that is, order: – charge, command; as taking command of the people.
In conclusion, “Nicolaitans” means leaders who have become “victorious over the people” or “lording it over the people” seeking Yahweh their Elohim – using phrases like “my church” instead of Yahweh’s congregation or people.
